Bhí maidin iontach ag an ngrúpa traidisiúnta ar an Luan, 11ú Márta, nuair a thug siad cuairt ar an mbunscoil shóiséarach Our Lady Immaculate i nDarndál. Sheinn an grúpa traidisiúnta do na ranganna, thaispeán siad a n-uirlisí dóibh agus sheinn gach duine píosa aonréadach ar a (h)uirlis féin. Bhí rinceoir iontach i gCaoimhe ó bhliain 1 leo agus thaispeáin sí roinnt damhsa dóibh. Mhúin an grúpa damhsa do na daltaí ag baint úsáide as Gaeilge shimplí agus ba léir gur bhain na daltaí óga lán-sult as. Tús álainn do Sheachtain na Gaeilge dúinn ar fad.
The trad group had a wonderful morning on Monday, March 11th, when they visited Our Lady Immaculate junior primary school in Darndale. They played for the classes, showed them their instruments and everyone played a solo piece on his/her own instrument. Caoimhe, an amazing dancer from 1st Yr was with the musicians and she danced a number of different dances. The group also taught a dance to the students using simple Irish and it was clear that the young students thoroughly enjoyed it. A lovely start to Seachtain na Gaeilge for all.
