⭐ Tábhachtach

B’fhéidir go mbeadh ort é nó í a leithlisiú ó dhaoine eile. Braithfidh sé sin ar na siomptóim a bheidh air nó uirthi.
I measc na siomptóm is coitianta a bhaineann le COVID-19, tá:
-
- fiabhras (teocht ard 38 céim Celsius nó os a chionn)
- casacht thirim
- tuirse
I measc na siomptóm nach bhfuil chomh coitianta sin, tá:
-
- caillteanas nó athrú bolaidh nó blaiste
- srón phlúchta

B’fhéidir nach mbeadh na siomptóim seo go léir ar do leanbh. Seans nárbh ionann na siomptóim ag brath ar aoisghrúpa an duine agus ar an athraitheach den víreas atá i gceist. Uaireanta tógann sé suas le 14 lá sula bhfeictear siomptóim.
Fiú mura bhfuil ach siomptóim éadroma ar do leanbh, coinnigh sa bhaile é nó í go ceann 48 uair an chloig agus cuir glao ar do dhochtúir teaghlaigh le comhairle a fháil.
Is féidir le siomptóim COVID-19 a bheith cosúil le siomptóim slaghdáin, fliú nó fiabhrais léana. Má tá amhras ort faoi aon siomptóim atá ar do leanbh, cuir glao ar do dhochtúir teaghlaigh. Ná sheol do pháiste chun na scoile. Coinnigh sa bhaile iad.

Soiléiriú maidir le clúdaigh aghaidhe a úsáid
Clarification on the use of face coverings
Ní mór d’fhoireann agus do scoláirí ag an leibhéal iar-bhunscoile clúdach aghaidhe a chaitheamh i gceart ar scoil. Ciallaíonn sé seo go gcaithfear an srón agus an béal a chlúdach. Tá seo istigh sa Polasaí um Rialú Sláinte agus Sábháilteachta COVID-19 do scoláirí. Mura bhfuil dalta ag caitheamh a cumhdach aghaidhe i gceart cuirfear abhaile é/í.
Staff and students, at post-primary level, are required to correctly wear a face covering at school. This means that both the nose and mouth must be covered. This is covered in the Health and Safety Control of Covid-19 Policy for Students. If a student is not wearing their face covering correctly they will be sent home.
