Litir chuig Tuismitheoirí agus Caomhnóirí ón gCoiste Covid maidir leis an filleadh ar an scoil

Letter to Parents and Guardians from the Covid Committee regarding the return to school.

09/04/2021

A chara,

Tá súil againn go bhfuil tú go maith agus i mbarr na sláinte. Beidh na daltaí uile ag filleadh ar an scoil ar an Luan agus tá sé ríthábhachtach go dtuigeann gach dalta agus tuismitheoir na rialacha agus na treoireacha a bhaineann le Covid-19.

Bhí oifig na scoile i dteagmháil le gach tuismitheoir trí ríomhphoist le déanaí. Ná déan dearmad an fhoirm a sheol siad sa ríomhphoist a líonadh sula bhfillfidh do pháiste ar scoil. Ba chóir go bhfuil an fhoirm sin déanta agat roimh an Luan (12/04/2021).

Beidh ar gach dalta rang ionduchtaithe a dhéanamh ag 8:30 ar an 12/04, mar sin, bí cinnte go bhfuil siad in am ar an lá sin.

Ní féidir linn glacadh le daltaí ar suíomh na scoile roimh 8:10 ar maidin, toisc nach mbíonn maoirseoirí ann roimhe seo. Tosaíonn an mhaoirseacht ag 8:10 gach maidin.

Molaimid go láidir go mbeadh paicéad ceirtíní ag do pháiste leo ar scoil gach lá. Tá díghalrán i ngach seomra sa scoil ach má tá a gcuid ceirtíní féin acu is féidir leo a gcuid deasc agus cathaoireacha a ghlanadh níos tapa agus níos éasca.

Bí cinnte le do thoil go bhfuil cúpla clúdach aghaidhe ag do pháiste agus bí cinnte go n-oireann sé dóibh. Caithfidh an clúdach aghaidh an béal agus an srón a chlúdach. Mura bhfuil daltaí ag caitheamh an masc i gceart cuirfear abhaile é/í. Tá sé seo ar mhaithe le sábháilteacht phobal na scoile ar fad.

Ní féidir le tuismitheoirí teacht isteach i bhfoirgneamh na scoile gan coinne. Beidh orthu glaoch a chur ar an oifig má tá siad ag iarraidh rud éigin a phiocadh suas nó a sheoladh isteach.

Tá ár rialacha agus ár dtreoirlínte uile ar fáil ar shuíomh gréasáin na scoile.

Táimid ag tnúth le do pháiste a fheiceáil ar scoil maidin Dé Luain.

Le meas,

An Coiste Covid-19

A chara,

We hope that you are well and in good health. As all of our students return to school on Monday, it is imperative that students and parents understand our rules and guidelines that we have in place to help manage the risk posed by Covid-19.

The school office was recently in touch with all parents by email. Please fill in the Microsoft form which they attached before your child returns to school. This form should be completed before Monday (12/04/2021).

Every student will complete a return to school induction on Monday 12/04 at 8:30. Please ensure that your child is in school in time for this induction.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide supervision before 8:10 each morning. As such students should not arrive on the school premises before this time. Supervision of students begins at 8:10.

We strongly recommend that each student has their own packet of sanitizer wipes with them each day. While we provide sanitizer in each classroom, it will be quicker and safer for students if they have their own wipes with which they can sanitize their desk and chair before and after use.

Please ensure that your child has multiple face coverings with them each day and that these face coverings fit your child correctly. Face coverings must cover both the mouth and nose. If a student is not wearing their face covering correctly, they will be sent home. This is for the safety of the entire school community.

Parents are not permitted to enter the school building at any time without a prior appointment. If you need to visit the school, please ring the office from outside and the secretaries will arrange for you to drop off or collect what is necessary.

All of our rules and guidelines are available on the school website.

We look forward to seeing your child back at school on Monday morning.

Le meas,

An Coiste Covid-19

Litir ón gCoiste Covid-19 (Gaeilge)

Ba mhaith linn dul i dteagmháil libh inniu chun béim a leagadh ar nósanna na scoile mar gheall ar Covid – 19 ag éirí as líon na gcásanna atá ag méadú go mór i láthair na huaire.

Is iad an HSE atá ag tógail cinní mar gheall ar oscailt agus dúnadh na scoileanna bunaithe ar an eolas a roinnimid, mar phobail scoile, orthu.

Bheadh sé ina chabhair an-mhór dúinn, sa scoil, eolas a roinnt ar an scoil, a luaithe agus is féidir leat, má tá aon cheann do na pointí thíos i gceist ag do mhac nó d’iníon.

  1. Má tá toradh dearfach ag do mhac nó d’iníon do scrúdú Covid – 19.
  2. Má tá do mhac d’iníon le dul faoi scrúdú do Covid – 19 toisc gur léiríodh comharthaí covid acu.
  3. Má tá do mhac d’iníon le dul faoi scrúdú do Covid – 19 toisc gur ainmníodh é/í ag an HSE mar dhuine a bhí i dteagmháil le duine atá Covid – 19 acu.
  4. Má tá do mhac d’iníon le dul faoi scrúdú do Covid – 19 toisc go bhfuil an dochtúir teaghlaigh dá sheoladh i gcomhair scrúdú.
  5. Má ta ball teaghlaigh ann atá Covid - 19 acu nó ar tí dul faoi scrúdú.
  6. Má tá do mhac nó d’iníon as láthair ar aon chúis a bhaineann le Covid – 19.

An módh cumarsáide is éifeachtaí ná ríomhphost a sheoladh chuig an bPríomhoide ná scairt a chuir ar Rúnaí na scoile. Coiméadfar gach eolas faoi rún.

Ár mbuíochas ó chroí as ucht bhur gcomhoibriú go dtí seo. Cabhróidh an t-eolas a roinnfidh sibh ar an scoil agus an HSE leis na cinní is fearr agus is sábhálta don scoil agus do dhaltaí na scoile.

Cuimhnigí is é an foinse eolais is fearr le braith air mar gheall arCovid – 19 ná an t-eolas a sheoltar amach ag an scoil nó an t-éolas a thagann ón HSE.

Letter from the Covid-19 Committee (Béarla)

We would like to contact you to highlight some of our school procedures with regard to Covid-19. These procedures have been mentioned in earlier correspondence with you, but we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of them in the light of the ever-increasing amount of cases in the country at the present time.

Firstly, the HSE make all decisions with regard to the opening and closing of schools on public health grounds and these decisions are made based on the information that we, as a school, give to them.

Therefore, we would ask you to please keep the school informed, as soon as possible, if any of the following apply to your son/daughter at any point:

  1. Your son/daughter has tested positive for Covid-19.
  2. Your son/daughter is being sent for a test because he/she has shown symptoms of the virus.
  3. Your son/daughter is being sent for a test because he/she has been identified by the HSE as a close contact of a confirmed case.
  4. Your son/daughter is showing symptoms of the virus and their GP is sending them for a test.
  5. A member of your household has tested positive for Covid-19.
  6. A family member / member of your household is awaiting a test or is being tested.
  7. Your son/daughter is not attending school for any reason that may be related to Covid-19.

The best way to make this information available to us is by sending an email to the principal or by phoning the school secretary in the school office. All information given to us will be kept confidential, as is your entitlement.

Many thanks for your support with this. The more information the school has at any given time will help the HSE make the safest and most appropriate decisions for our school and students.

Finally, for now, please keep in mind that the most reliable source of information regarding Covid-19 in our school context is information sent out by the school or information sent out by the HSE.

Le meas,

The Gaelcholáiste Reachrann Covid-19 Committee
